Colectivul trip hop Massive Attack și eclecticul artist Tom Waits și-au unit forțele pentru un single intitulat „Boots on the Ground”. Compoziția este însoțită și de un videoclip, care îi intensifică mesajul de protest la adresa noului fascism american.
„Boots on the Ground” reprezintă prima lansare Massive Attack după șase ani de pauză, precedentul material, EP-ul online Eutopia, apărând în timpul pandemiei COVID-19 și având, de asemenea, o puternică încărcătură politică. Tom Waits nu mai lansase compoziții muzicale noi din anul 2011, când apărea albumul intitulat Bad as Me.
